The reviews reveal a common thread—outstanding service. As Laura Okel noted, the Denver omelet she enjoyed was served hot and paired excellently with crispy hash browns. And it’s not just about the food; it’s the attentiveness of staff like Alberto that turns a meal into a memorable experience. Hole in the wall place. Hidden gem. Great seafood omelette, excellent portions. Reasonable prices. Sunday morning around 9. No wait. Plenty of seats. Lots of options for side- hash browns, fruit or Mexican style.

Love this place - everything's good but I fell in love with the Gyro omelet, Greek style. Good coffee and great atmosphere as well as plenty of parking, all served with a smile.

Great little diner in strip mall. Fast friendly service on a Monday morning 10 minutes after they open. A couple sitting outside and 6 locals inside when I arrived. Ordered simple breakfast. Coffee was outstanding. They use a Farmers brew that is high end not what ends up in stores. Over easy eggs were perfect. 4 slices of bacon instead of the usual 3 in other restaurants. Hash browns cooked fresh. Sour dough bread toasted and buttered spot on. Will go back to try options on the expanded menu.

I went in there late afternoon hoping to have breakfast. They did not disappoint. Denver omelet was perfect and a good sized portion. Hash browns nice and crispy. All food was served piping hot. Very cute cafe/restaurant. Service was fantastic.

A great Neighborhood Restaurant in La Mesa area. The food is great; the service is prompt, friendly, and efficient. Our waiter, Alberto, was very accommodating and patient with our orders. There's plenty of parking. We were there at 10 am which was perfect...before the lunch crowd.

A friend took me to Patty's Cafe in La Mesa today and it was such an exceptional meal that I had to submit a review. I had their Greek omelette (eggs, spinach, green onions and feta cheese). It was outstanding and came with hash browns, toast AND a slightly spicy salsa and tzasziki sauce! The server was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back to try some other items on the menu!

Had a really nice experience. Walked in and was seated immediately. I had the Alpine Frattta which was absolutely terrific and was served warm. Considering the size of the menu I was really surprised by the quality of the food. I will be back.

It’s exactly what you hope a local family style “comfort food” restaurant should be. What most people want in a local family style “comfort food” restaurant is a menu that is varied enough to provide some appealing alternative choices from your regular “go to” menu selection. Most people want consistency... good food that they can depend on being prepared correctly every time. When you have a nicely varied menu that provides consistently good food... and that all comes with consistently good service, well... that is exactly what most of us are looking for in a nice local family style restaurant. BTW... a great indication you are at the right place IS Noticing This Restaurant Enjoys Lots Of Repeat REGULAR Customers. Enjoy.
